Thank you for using PlayPrep. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to being transparent and keeping your information safe.
PlayPrep is an independent mobile application designed to help parents, teachers, and homeschoolers manage activities, crafts, field trips, and learning plans for children. PlayPrep is operated by Cassandra Skenandore, an individual developer based in Indiana, USA.
PlayPrep is intended for use by adults (age 13 and older), including parents, educators, and caregivers. The app is not directed at children. Any information about children — such as age ranges or interests — is entered by a parent or guardian on behalf of the child and is stored locally on your device.
By using PlayPrep, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to this policy on your behalf.
All data you enter into PlayPrep — including activity details, supply lists, notes, photos, child profile names, age groups, and interests — is stored locally on your device. We do not currently collect or transmit this information to external servers.

In the current version of PlayPrep, we do not collect analytics, usage data, or crash reports automatically. Future versions of the app may include anonymous crash reporting and analytics to help us improve the app. We will update this policy before enabling such features.

Since all data is stored locally on your device in the current version, we do not process your personal information on our servers. Your data is used solely to provide the features of the app — organizing activities, managing supplies, and planning.
Future versions of PlayPrep may offer a premium subscription that includes cloud backup and sync. If and when cloud storage is introduced:
Until cloud features are available, all your data remains on your device and is subject to your device's own backup settings (e.g., iCloud backup).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Since all data is currently local to your device, no data transfer occurs outside of your device.
In future versions, we may use third-party services for cloud storage, crash reporting, and subscription management. When such services are introduced, we will name them specifically in an updated policy.

PlayPrep is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is designed to be used by adults managing activities for children in their care.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data. Since PlayPrep currently stores all data locally on your device, security depends in part on your device's security settings. When cloud features are introduced, we will implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
PlayPrep may display links to third-party websites (e.g., source URLs for imported activities). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
As a US-based user, you have the right to access the data you've entered into the app, delete your data at any time, and request information about any future data practices by contacting us.

PlayPrep is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the app from outside the US, please be aware that your information may be subject to US laws. If we begin offering services to EU/EEA users, we will update this policy to include GDPR-specific provisions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an app update and update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of PlayPrep after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
