Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PlayPrep. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cassandra Skenandore ("PlayPrep," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the PlayPrep mobile application ("App"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PlayPrep. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. PlayPrep is designed for use by parents, educators, homeschoolers, and caregivers — not for use directly by young children.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PlayPrep grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
You retain ownership of all content you create within PlayPrep, including activity descriptions, notes, photos, and plans ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant PlayPrep a limited license to store and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you.
PlayPrep allows you to import activity content from third-party URLs. When you use this feature:
Photos you add to the App are stored locally on your device. You represent that you have the right to use any photos you add to the App. Do not add photos that contain nudity, violence, or content that violates any laws or the rights of others.
PlayPrep offers a free version with a limited feature set, including up to 50 activities, 5 collections, and access to core planning features.
PlayPrep may offer a premium subscription ("PlayPrep Pro") that unlocks additional features. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. All billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and policies.
By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fee as displayed at the time of purchase, including auto-renewal terms as disclosed in the App Store listing.
Refund requests are handled by Apple. Please contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
You agree not to use PlayPrep to:
PlayPrep and its original content, features, and functionality — including the seed activity library, design, graphics, and code — are owned by Cassandra Skenandore and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The PlayPrep seed activity library is provided for personal use within the App. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish the seed library content outside of the App without written permission.
PlayPrep is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs; that any defects will be corrected; or that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlayPrep and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have not made any payments).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlayPrep and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the App; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
PlayPrep integrates with third-party services including Apple's App Store for distribution and payments. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PlayPrep at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.
Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an app update and update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlayPrep regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
