Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PlayPrep. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PlayPrep Labs LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("PlayPrep," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the PlayPrep mobile application and related services ("App"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PlayPrep. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. PlayPrep is designed for anyone who plans, organizes, or participates in activities — including parents, educators, homeschoolers, camp counselors, group leaders, and adult learners planning activities for groups of any age.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PlayPrep grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or sell the App or any portion of it
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the App or its content

4. Your Account

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@playprep.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may sign in using your email and password.

By creating a PlayPrep account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are creating an account on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and agree to these Terms on their behalf.

5. Your Content

5.1 Content You Create

You retain ownership of all content you create within PlayPrep, including activity descriptions, notes, photos, plans, and participant profile data ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant PlayPrep Labs LLC a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you.

5.2 Imported Content & Third-Party Attribution

PlayPrep allows you to import activity content from third-party URLs. When you use this feature:

• The source URL is permanently attached to the imported content to preserve attribution to the original creator.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of third-party content complies with applicable copyright law and the original creator's terms of use.
• PlayPrep is a productivity tool. We do not host, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content you choose to import.
• Do not import content if you do not have the right to use it.

5.3 Photos & Media

Photos you add to the App may be stored on our servers. You represent that you have the right to use any photos you add. Do not add photos that contain nudity, violence, or content that violates any laws or the rights of others.

5.4 Participant Profile Data

You may enter participant profile information (including nicknames, birthdates, age groups, interests, and accessibility preferences) into PlayPrep for yourself or others in your group. You represent that you have the authority to enter such data — whether for your own profile, as a parent or guardian entering data for a minor in your care, or as an educator or group leader entering data for participants in a professional capacity. You are responsible for the accuracy of participant profile data you provide.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

6.1 Free Tier

PlayPrep offers a free version with access to core features, including activity planning, supply management, and basic place tracking, subject to usage limits displayed in the app.

6.2 Pro Subscription

PlayPrep Pro unlocks Family mode, multi-profile support, calendar sync, and additional features beyond the free tier. Subscription pricing is displayed at the time of purchase in the App Store or Google Play.

6.3 Pro Plus Subscription

PlayPrep Pro Plus unlocks all three modes (Personal, Family, and Group), expanded multi-profile support, collaboration features, and all Pro features. Subscription pricing is displayed at the time of purchase in the App Store or Google Play.

6.4 Free Trial

PlayPrep may offer a free trial period for Pro and Pro Plus. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. Trial availability and length are as displayed at the time of offer.

6.5 Billing & Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

6.6 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal period and we will notify you in advance.

6.7 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, depending on where you purchased your subscription. Please contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play Support to request a refund.

6.8 Cloud Data After Cancellation

If you cancel or downgrade from Pro or Pro Plus, you may continue using PlayPrep as a free user with your content still saved on your own device. If your account remains on the free tier for 31 consecutive days, your cloud-synced backup is deleted from our servers; your account, settings, and anything saved locally on your device are unaffected. 7. Device Limits & Multi-Device Use

7.1 Connected Devices

Pro and Pro Plus subscriptions include cloud sync across up to 5 active devices per account, including the web companion (a phone, a tablet, and a signed-in browser session each count separately). You can view and manage your connected devices, and remove a device to free its slot, from Manage devices in the app's Privacy & Data settings.

7.2 Permitted Use

The device limit is intended for your own personal or household use, or for your own use within a single organization if you operate as an educator, camp counselor, or group leader. It is not intended to let a single account be shared across unrelated individuals or organizations as a substitute for separate subscriptions.

7.3 Misuse

We may treat the following as a violation of these Terms: sharing your login credentials with people outside your own household or organization so they can use your subscription as their own; or deliberately removing and re-adding devices to evade the 5-device limit. We may review accounts that show unusual patterns of device activity, such as an unusually high number of devices connecting within a short period.

7.4 Consequences

If we determine the device limit has been misused, we may suspend or terminate the affected account under Section 15 (Termination), in addition to any other remedy available to us.

8. Affiliate Links

8.1 Amazon Associates

PlayPrep is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. Supply and product links may include our affiliate tag (playprep07-20). Purchases made through these links may result in a commission to PlayPrep Labs LLC.

8.2 Other Affiliate Programs

PlayPrep may participate in additional affiliate programs from time to time. Affiliate links will be clearly distinguished where required by applicable law or platform guidelines. Our editorial content and activity recommendations are not influenced by affiliate relationships.

8.3 Sponsored Content

PlayPrep may display sponsored content from brand partners, clearly labeled as "Sponsored." Sponsored content represents paid placement and does not constitute an endorsement of the sponsor's products or services. We do not share your personal data with sponsors.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PlayPrep to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Store or share content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or inappropriate for a family-focused app
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Attempt to interfere with the operation of the App or its servers
• Circumvent any access controls, subscription gates, or security measures, including the device limit described in Section 7

10. Intellectual Property

PlayPrep and its original content, features, and functionality — including the seed activity library, design, graphics, and code — are owned by PlayPrep Labs LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The PlayPrep seed activity library is provided for personal use within the App. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish the seed library content outside of the App without written permission from PlayPrep Labs LLC.

The PlayPrep name, logo, and "Plan it. Prep it. Play." tagline are trademarks of PlayPrep Labs LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

11. Third-Party Services

PlayPrep integrates with third-party services to provide its features. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies:

We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of third-party services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

PlayPrep is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs; that any defects will be corrected; or that the App or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

Activity and craft ideas in PlayPrep are provided for informational and planning purposes. PlayPrep Labs LLC is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during activities. Always assess the suitability of activities for your specific participants and situation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlayPrep Labs LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlayPrep Labs LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the App; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PlayPrep at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms (including misuse of the device limit described in Section 7), is harmful to other users, or for any other reason at our discretion.

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. You can export a copy of your data or delete your account yourself at any time from Privacy & Data in the app, or by contacting support@playprep.app. Account deletion and cloud data retention timelines are described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice and update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@playprep.app. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlayPrep Labs LLC regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
